Hugh Yeomans Joins Wedgewood Group as an Associate

WASHINGTON, DC—Wedgewood Group is pleased to announce that Hugh Yeomans has joined the firm's Washington, DC office as an Associate. Hugh will serve on the project teams to develop workforce initiatives and lend strategic communications guidance to the U.S. Air Force Manpower and Personnel Office, as well as other Wedgewood Group clients.

Prior to joining Wedgewood Group, Hugh served as Congressional Relations Officer at the U.S. Office of Personnel Management. In this capacity, Hugh handled a portfolio of pending legislative issues, monitored Congressional and GAO activity on behalf of the agency's senior leaders, briefed Members of Congress and staff on policy matters, and played a lead role in sponsoring a White House Executive Order affecting Federal agency use and protection of personal identifiers.

He previously worked on the presidential campaign trail in three high-profile primary election contests. Hugh also brings to Wedgewood Group a strong understanding of Congressional protocol and the legislative process, having served as an aide to a senior Member of Congress and in two leadership offices in the U.S. House of Representatives.

"Hugh's broad experience in the legislative arena, on Federal regulatory matters, and in conducting strategic outreach initiatives will be an asset to our clients," said Jamie P. Leddin, CEO of Wedgewood Group. Hugh hails from Wilmington, Delaware and received his degree from the Williams School of Commerce at Washington & Lee University.
