Wedgewood Hires Sherry Hope as Senior Consultant

WASHINGTON, DC—Wedgewood Consulting Group, Inc., a small, woman-owned management consulting firm, announces the hiring of Sherry Hope as a Senior Consultant. Ms. Hope joins the firm's Washington, DC office to serve on project teams developing various workforce initiatives in direct support of the Air Force Manpower and Personnel Office (AF/A1), as well as other Wedgewood clients.

Prior to joining Wedgewood, Ms. Hope served as White House Liaison at the United States Office of Personnel Management. In this capacity, Ms. Hope advised 22 federal department and agency liaisons on human capital issues, rules and regulations surrounding federal hiring practices, and policies regarding non-career personnel matters, including issues pertaining to the Presidential transition. She also supported the recruitment, selection, and promotion of OPM’s non-career Senior Executive Service and Schedule C appointees. Prior to her tenure at OPM, Ms. Hope served as the Deputy White House Liaison at the U.S. Department of Education and held private sector positions at Quinn Gillespie and Associates and the Republican National Committee.

Ms. Hope is a native of Rhode Island and graduated from American University with a double major in Broadcast Journalism and Criminal Justice.
