Wedgewood Announces the Hiring of Daryl J. Sharpe as Associate Consultant
WASHINGTON, DC—Wedgewood Consulting Group, Inc., a small, woman-owned management consulting, announces the hiring of Daryl J. Sharpe as an Associate Consultant. Daryl joins the Washington, D.C. office to maintain and grow various operations with the United States Office of Air Force Personnel (AF/A1) and support for other federal contracts.
Prior to his selection to Wedgewood, Daryl operated as an International Agreements Analyst with the Department of the Navy, International Programs Office (NIPO). During his tenure, Daryl developed, deployed, and maintained their workflow management database, which is still in use by the foreign military sales and acquisitions arm of the Navy. Daryl has direct experience with the Department of Homeland Security, and served as a Combat Medic for the United States Army, and attended Officer Candidate School for the United States Marine Corps in Quantico, Virginia.
Daryl's work with every branch of military service as contractual support or as a direct service member has provided him considerable cross-departmental interface and support responsibility within the Department of Defense. "After an extensive search, I am pleased that our efforts led to an excellent find in Daryl," said Jamie P. Leddin, Wedgewood Principal. Leddin also noted that Daryl's arrival marks another "positive enhancement" to the Wedgewood family and sees his hiring as another example of growth and prosperity.
Daryl is a native of Long Island, New York. He graduated from Saint John’s University in Queens, New York with a degree in English and Psychology, and now is undertaking his Masters in Accounting, Finance, and Management (CPA) at Keller Graduate School of Management, Devry University.
